I had an opportunity to crew on Major Detail, a J35 in their final windward/leeward race of the season.

A couple of observations: racers are a crazy lot with close quarter sailing, lee bows, pushing upwind, huge heel angles, etc. I LOVE IT

Spinakers while daunting at first are pretty cool. Next time I will have a better handle on trimming the spinaker pole for better finishing positions.

J35's are fast, as is an undersized for the perf rated fleet Viper.

Racing is hard work, I was wooped.

Best way to wash the windows is to go racing. Glad you had a good time!!
