I just went out and put my two ladders up against "Brandy"
anticipating 1-2 ft of snow thru tomorrow night here in upstate N.Y.
Brandy sets in my back yard on the trailer with a tarp draped over the entire top of the boat tied down with bungee cords and additional mast supports. This is the second winter with this arrangement and worked well last year. However snow and ice will pocket on top of the boat in a few places. If I have a good camera shot tomorrow I will post a picture of a C250 with 1-2 ft of snow on top. To all my fellow sailers on a xmas sail tomorrow, hoist one for your landlocked fellow sailors in the Northeast.

"Merry Xmas" from Bear with snowshovel waiting and ready

Merry Christmas to you also!

I'm hoping to get out New Years to watch the fireworks here in J'ville from the St. Johns R.

These pictures were taken from the dock one day when the wind was conducive to a fly-by. I had my friend Paul with me so he stayed on the dock with my Intel web cam. Great little camera. I actually fell into the St. Johns R. with it and after it dried for two weeks I tried it and it still worked and had the pictures in it to download!

"Brandy" made it through the 25 inches of snow with hardly
any snow on top, however those of you with a Trailrite trailer will understand when I tell you the snow was up over the top of the tandem
wheel fenders. Appreciate pictures attached to initial post from those of you lucky enough to still be sailing. They are calling for two inches of rain New Years day in upstate New York. At least the lakes up this way will have a good shot at being full next year. "Happy New Years" to all my fellow sailors, mid May can't come quick enough...."Bear" on the hard in upstate New York.
