I use Mellita pods at work and sometimes at home, I have several machines and have given several as gifts. They are cheaper than k-cups. One of the beauties of single serve machines is the ability to serve different coffees. I drink very dark roast called appropriately Buzzworthy, but I keep decaf and flavored coffees around for guests.
Being able to serve different flavors is a nice benefit of the single serve machines, but is has to be THE most expensive way there is to make coffee, especially the K-cups. The machine alone is well over 1 boat unit.
