My set of Lewmar Nab Shackles gave up the ghost this year. The made it through the race, and then broke. (Lucky for us.) Not so lucky is that it looks like these have been discontinued in the US.
I am looking for another set to use with the light air (3/16"?) sheets. Nevermind that we have had the "light air" sheets in use in winds to 16 knots - they held. Maybe this is why the nab shackles broke. Anyway.
I would like a set of very light shackles, so that means plastic. And I really liked the way I didn't need a shackle protector.
Anybody have a product they like?

I never heard of them, but just did a google search and found that there appears to be a place where they can still be bought. I found some for sale at USauctions.com They appear to also be available in England, if you're willing to order online and pay the shipping costs. I recently inquired about shipping costs for a pair of winches, and the cost didn't seem too bad.
