This is a really good price for around here, so i am relisting for this guy. Usual caveats, I know nothign about the boat etc. I did message him that he might want to relist with the Association.

ONe thought is that the ad states the boat is a 1978, but the sail numbers would indicate early '80s. Maybe he bought used sails?? Anyone know when they switched from the 2-tone paint jobs? Looks pretty decent though.

Take a minute to register your boat with the association!!

With the whale eye bow lights and no scuppers in the transom, it can't be any newer than 82.
According to the old member roster, #2151 is the number for a 1980 fixed keel C-25 named North Star that belongs to Don & Jennifer Lucier in Taylor MI. They must have sold the sail to the owners of the Canadian boat. Don is a regular contributor to the Forum, with a current pic of North Star in the swim ladder thread in the C25 section of the Forum.

The Honda on the back is likely worth half the asking price of the boat, the cradle is worth another $500 around here...

I didn't realize that was Don's sail number! Funny how these things get passed around. Too bad it doesn't have more sails on it.

Yeah, that's my old main sail. I believe the guy who bought it from me six or seven years ago was from Windsor so either the boat or the sail changed locations.

Small world!
