Looks great if you like olives! I personally would modify it to work around them.

Looks delicious!

We've had a surprisingly warm winter here on the Chesapeake Bay. It's about 64 degrees today, January 31st! I may get some sailing in, before the Giants-Patriots game on Sunday if it stays this warm.

It's supposed to get up to 63 here today, about 20 aboce normal. I'm blaming the recent sun spot activity, but I'm definitely not upset by it. I love this weather. It's the first year that I can remember having the windows open at home in late January. February is usually our coldest month, though.

This weather is creepy. I just can't believe how warm it is here. High of mid 60's Thursday.

AnyHoo.... from good ol' wiki..

" The proprietors of Central Grocery pronounce it "moo-foo-LET-ta."

Ingredients:
capicola, salami, mortadella, emmentaler, provolone, marinated olive salad, one muffuletta loaf.

From my Grlfrnd the key is finding the loaf...

So off to a Search for a New Orleans Grocery store in Atlanta.

a good sourdough and tapenade are essential!!

Many argue the true home of the muffuletta...(my old stomping grounds, i.e. early 80's)

Sonny's Place, 1206 19th St, Galveston, TX
from their online menu: Muffuletta whole $10.50, 1/2 $6.50, 1/4 $4.90
lg. sour dough, thinly sliced ham, salami, mort della, Swiss / Provolone cheese, olive salad

That helps me .. I was looking for the "muffuletta" bread not knowing it was a sourdough...
OK now I'm stoked.. you use a round tupperware to keep this concoction in, in the refrigerator over night, then to the cooler and ready to open up and cut out on the boat...

Talk about beer food... Sweet!

This has got to be my new favorite sailing lunch..
