The boat has a canting keel, which means that they can rotate the keel to windward in order to help offset the forces exerted on the sail. Without the canting feature, those boats would not be able to carry as much sail area and would not sail as fast. Here's an article with pics and drawings to explain. The second one is really interesting, as it goes into different styles and which boats they are on:

I notice there's no rudder on the port side. Which makes sense, you don't want to jump/get washed off and get killed by the rudder trying to slice you in half.
