Instead of Sail-kote, try going to Lowes and picking up a can of Teflon Dry Lubricant. Comes in a spray can and is 1/3 the price. Works great.

I did get the sails cleaned (by me) but have not looked at mast slides to replace yet......

Congrats SAM--- Check the Keel cable , If it has not been replaced in X years , That should be a priority . Raise and lower the keel a number of times while on the hard and look the cable and keel over good .

I would just replace the cable and cable attachment regardless of how it looks. You'll know its age from now on and get more rest per dollar than almost anything else you do to her.

It will make you cry--but no trailer
And yes I went an looked at her-very good shape

1987 Catalina Sailboat including:
- Pop-top!
- 2 Jibs, 1 Spinnaker, 1 Main all in decent condition.
- Portable VHF and Garmin GPS
- 2006 Yamaha 8 HP Longshaft/High Thrust with electric start & alternator. _low_ hours.
- Dual Battery Bank, new Electric!
- Claw anchor & chain
- Porta-potti
- Life jackets, safety flares, local charts, lots of extras.

Seller was on the west coast, boat on the east --had to sell-$1500.00
