I have a substantial leak in the V-berth. The water drips in through the light fixture (port side)and soaks the aft end of the berth. I suspect that it is tracking along the wiring to the light but have no idea as to where it gets into the wires. Does anyone have any suggestions?

We have a minor leak that runs down the compression post. But not sure if it travels in along the wires and into the connector, or if it's a leak around the top of the compression post / mast base on the deck.
I have re-bedded, the 3 connectors we have in that area (mast lights, vhf antenna coax, and wind instrument wiring) with Butyl. So I'm pretty sure it's not coming in around the base of the connectors.
I'm getting some Captain Tolly's leak stopper this week to put around the mast base and am packing the pig tail wires from the mast to the connectors with silicone.

Hi Derek, Check to see if there is water filling the anchor locker. The wires loop from port side to starboard in the locker. I had this happen several years ago. Cleaninng the locker drain solved the problem. Bill Holcomb - C25 Snickerdoodle #4839
Bill & Bernie, A few months back I had a leak into the very front of the V-berth - turned out that this was coming from the anchor locker (when the boat is on the hoist it sits "bow up") and after I sealed the hole where the wires emerged in the locker this leak stopped. The anchor locker still fills when it rains and maybe there's another "portal" for the water. Bill, is there any continuation of wires from the deck connector forward to the V-berth light &/or anchor locker?
Generally, the deck connector wires for the mast come from the port side wire harness as it passes through the head. That harness leads forward to the V-berth light and then to the running lights; and then aft along the starboard side for the light in the head, starboard main cabin light and qarter berth light. The wire harness enters the anchor locker on the port side and exits on starbaord.
So, it could be possible that your leak IS coming from the deck connector and migrating into the V-berth light. Check the wiring harness above the port light on the port side of the head. If those wires are wet, there's a good chance that you've found the leak. Bill Holcomb - C20 Snickerdoodle #4839
