For the last few years my marina has had a pretty active sail fleet, the power guys are finally catching up. We had a overnight raft-up this past Saturday night, it was an even mix - six blow boats and six stinkpotters. We had everything from a 45 footer (the one pointing the wrong way) to a C22 rafted up, it was a good night (for a weekend in February).

Thanks for sharing Tom. <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">

<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"> Its not that they can't be rafted together but what usually happens is the next day one of the powerboat guys complains about how the halyard slapping on the mast all night kept him awake...Then it starts..

Our Power Squadron group is about 1/2 power and 1/2 sail. We have a raftup every July or August and the only disruption is the sound of the stinkpotters' gensets and air conditioners going on and off every 1/2 hour!

However, my friends in "bigger boats" let me tie up for cocktails when they're passing through the Mystic area... I'm still waiting for a 25-footer.
PS: I have no genset, microwave, A/C,... No nuttin.

Yup...but at least the one close to me only used his Honda 2k for 30-40 minutes before we all crashed. I was too far from the big guys to hear theirs going all night (was on the "wife's' W25, second one from the left with the name on the hull).
