Ok on my 84 C25 above the "head" compartment is what seems to be an opening for a vent that is leaking. Is this an opening to install a vent? and if so are there any recommendations as to what I should install.

Appreciate all replies.

Mornin Frank,
I have a solar powered vent thereabouts. It's in the headspace between the head and the wash stand. Not leaking fortunately. What's covering the hole on your boat? Gotta be something seems to me.

Hi Val & happy new year!

On my opening there seems to be a plastic ring w/ a plug as I recall. In the Head area there was a teak ring.

By the way I may have an opening in my car next weekend to go down to atlantic city for the show. Are you interested? it would be saturday the 11 that we are going. Email me at frich1230@aol.com

Duane

I may not have been clear the opening is over the head to the deck above at the centerline of the boat.

Could this "opening" possibly be a deck plate like the one in this picture?

If so, it might have been installed by a PO when he put in a vent, maybe a solar vent.

I can't answer your question, but maybe you could contact Nicro or even call BoatUS for assistance. Measure your deckplate and see if one of these vents will fit. This is page 499 of the BoatUS catalog.
