We pulled 'Recess' today, and I received payment in full. So, she now has a new owner! After he spends a little time on the hard sprucing her up, changes out the keel cable, and a few other chores, we'll move her to the other local lake, where she was when I bought her. Need to change my signature since I'm now the PO. BTW, he rented a 17' Uhaul truck that has a 10,000 lb towing capacity. Nice truck, fairly new, only about 8k on the odometer. The hitch had a 2" ball, but next to it was a square receiver, so you could insert a ball mount with a different size ball. I used it to secure the strap for our trailer extension. worked great!

That's good news about the UHaul truck. I'd like to get rid of my minivan and rent a towing vehicle for pulling my Trophy boat once a year. We're only talking about 1000 lb. or so. I called 2 or 3 local UHaul places, and they all refuse to rent vehicles for pulling trailers. I strikes me as odd, since UHaul rents trailers also. But that's what they told me. If anyone finds a Philly area location that rents trucks for pulling boats, please let me know.
