SO my screws have wallowed out and the hinges are loose on the dumpster and aft lids. Leaking water into the Dumpster.

Seems I'm going to have to cut them off, resin up the holes, redrill, and add new screws on the hinges. My understanding is the hinges need to aligned just right to not wallow out the screw holes again..

LeeKee lives up to her name.

any advice?

I believe the root cause may be that the rubber gasket under the seat rimming the opening has dried out and shrunk, or at least flattened out. Probably want to purchase and install new gaskets first, then measure where the screw holes should be based on the new location.

<< the rubber gasket under the seat rimming the opening has dried out >>

Good point, Thank You.. All my gaskets need replacing. My todo list looks like the old stacking bars at an airport control tower...

And at my age the Number One thing to do when I get to the boat...

Take a Nap...
