The Nashville Predators beat the Detroit Redwings 3-2 last night in the play-offs.

Bridgestone Arena where the Predators play is a much better place to watch hockey as they don't have any of these obstructing the view!

Anyone know the lacrosse scores? Y'all need to come to Rodeo country where sports uniforms are bought at the tractor supply.

Okat Scott, be nice. BTW, if you love hockey and sailing, plan on coming to Nashville in October. Our club is offering 3 regattas back-to-back 10/6-7, 10/13-14, and 10/20-21. The second weekend is the Music City Catalina Cup, a C-22 only event, and the third weekend is the more famous Equalizer Regatta, a one-design regatta featuring C-22, J22, S2-7.9 (and we get guys from Canada, Michigan, and Wisconsin for this one), and Northstar 500 (we have the largest NS500 fleet in the world here). Hockey tickets are usually easy to buy at the door.
It's been said that we have the loudest fans in the NHL, and the NFL, too. Folks here just love their sports.

I've only done that once before....visiting friends in Phoenix....went to the 'Yotes/Stars game in full Dallas Stars clothing. Interesting experience being in enemy territory wearing the road team's colors. Phoenix fans were great though, all in good fun. Not like I was in Philly or something.....

LOL...."passionate" is one way to describe Philly fans I guess.....

I'm in Dallas.....Cowboys/Eagles.....yeah, I may have a slightly skewed opinion of Philly fans.

We don't get to play the Flyers that often.

Try being a Habs fan living in Toronto.

Cheering for a losing team and being heckled by fans of a losing team. Our hockey just aint what it used to be.

A Montreal fan living in Toronto has got to be rough. Growing up a Wings fan was interesting for me as all my relatives are Canadian and hardcore Leafs fans.

Look what showed up at my work after the Wings' last cup win!

Too cool Don.

To their credit, the Toronto Maple Leafs are the best damn golfers in the whole league.

Lookin good! I've got a pic with the Cup too, I'd have to scan it. It drops by every few years for fan pics and to tease us....sadly it's been since '99 that we've got to keep it for a while.

Hey hey, the Preds win again, in Detroit!

Edit: And clipped their Wings again back here. Sorry Detroit, maybe next year! I think we find out later today who the Preds face in the next round.

The only team left from Canada is Ottawa.

I guess I have to cheer for them.

Go Senators. Etc.

I know....I hate that we had to go to 7, but damn, a playoff game 7 is always an awesome game! The Caps have put up a good fight.

West was pretty decided but man, three game 7's in the East.

Preds get Phoenix next I guess....I don't think the 'Yotes have ever made it this far?
