Last weekend a C-25 with Texas reg #'s was unloaded at our marina, boat name "La Dulce". Nice looking boat. The name sounds familiar but I can't place it. Does anyone know if it recently changed owners or is it traveling. Regardless, welcome to our lake and hope you enjoy your stay with us!

Funny, last night a new C-25 showed up for the race. He was doing well, especially on the windward legs. He never caught us in the C-27, but I enjoyed seeing him put it on a C-30. I can tell this guy has skills and will enjoy seeing him on the course next Wednesday.
Joe, we have plenty of room for crew, come sail with us!
hull number and TX number are not the same unless by accident. I have hull nr 77 and my old Tx was 4211HN. No where near a match. john on ms achsa 77 FK,SR

Yeah, sounds about right. The second C25 arrival, that was assigned my old slip, is an older one that came from another marina on the lake. It has whale eye bow lights, so it is probably a an 82 or pre-82 boat. Not counting mine, which left, there are at least 12 C-25's still in residence. At least 3 are in a state of neglect. One I know the owner; he's not in good health. Maybe I could talk to him about using the boat in exchange for some upkeep labor. Needs a pressure washing very badly.
I met one of the 3 co-owners of La Dulce and I recommended that he/they join the Association and get the book from CD. La Dulce is a 1985 fixed keel boat, std rig I think, but I'll have to look again to be sure. Fellow seemed to be very nice. They are already participating in our Sailing at the Helm teaching program.
