I just found this new app by Sea Tow. It has detailed weather/wind up to 7 days out, tides and speed/compass, maps and ability to take a pic and most importantly direct contact with Sea Tow if you need it. It all free even if you are not a member like me who has BoatUS. I rate it as one of the best apps around.

BoatUS has an app as well, but Sea Tow has done a MUCH better job with their app. Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep both apps and only use BoatUS in the unlikely event I need a tow.

My spouse has our privately owned cell phone. I have an office issued cell phone and not allowed to download any programs/apps to it. I downloaded the app to my PC last night but can't get it to open up. I may have time to fool around with it tonight.

I believe the app is iphone or android, so PC won't work (unless someone has an app for that )
