The cover for our anchor hatch has lost it's shape. While it is still intact it is flat and looks bad. Where can I find a replacement cover?
Also our boat has a red tint showing through the non skid finish on the foreward sections. I cannot get it off by cleaning so my guess it is some primer showing through. Can this be repainted. The rest of the non skid is finished in a light gray or off white.
Thanks for any help/advice.

You've got a few options on this. You can always try to match the color using one-part polyurethane paint. Covers well and lasts a few years. Keep the paint well sealed and in a few years when you need to touch it up, you will be able to.
I also checked on the "SWAP MEET" tab on the left, but nothing appears to be available. From time-to-time, folks will part out a C-25, and you can usually get an anchor locker hatch. You might give it a try just in case.

I also replaced the core in my anchor hatch. Thomas' pictures are very similar to mine.

It's really not that bad of a job. Chip out the old, install new marine plywood, glass in. I still need to re-gel coat it, but it is very solid now.

Wow, Tomas, I just went through your photo essay on repairing your anchor locker. Nice work! I've never taken on that large of a fiberglass project, all of mine have been very minor repairs. I take inspiration from seeing projects like this done on our boats so I know it's probably within my capabilities.

Did you do anything to further protect your running light wiring? It looks like it might be easy to snag if the anchor rode is running out rapidly.

I have an plow anchor in the bowsprit now so there is only a spare folding anchor and a anchor line. This is the original design for '78 model but newer models had these cups like on '82

I'm planning to add some plastic covers if I will find something suitable, but not the priority right now.

Maybe some PVC pipe and end caps?

Tomas, great job on the repair - and thanks for sharing all the pix. Interesting to see what is under the skin of our boats.

Still learning new things here!
