Hi all,

Somewhere between putting the boat away for the winter and launching her in the spring, I lost the clevis pin for one of the forward lowers. Normally I just put them back on the shroud, but I don't know why I didn't do that this time.

Anway, I went to my local WM, and all they had was a 1 inch pin, instead of the 3/4 inch pin that should go in there. So I bought the 1 inch pin. Is there a problem using a longer pin?

It shouldn't be a problem. If you are not comfortable with it there, move the 1" pin to the forestay or backstay.

Thanks David, good idea. i don't mind it being there as long as it doesn't pose a safety issue. :)
