in the process of having my through hulls changed the guy put both hoses back (icebox/galley sink) but i wanted only a single 90 degrees hose barb coming out of the ball valve for the sink, yesterday i removed the icebox drain (plugged it with epoxy) and hose, i didn't remove the T hose barbs yet (i'll let the repair guy do that) but in case he's too busy i'll do it myself, here's my problem, i know the hose barb going to the drain is a 3/4" (loosely measured with a tape across the hose barb) but the part sticking out of the ball valve seems way larger, closer to 1-1/4" or 1-1/2"

what was the Catalina standard in 84? (the parts manual only talks about 1/2" gate valves, so it's pointless to me)

thanks
