$30. Has a nice display, most importantly an ALARM, and is dirt cheap. Why pay $300 for a Xantrex or other monitor? I'll mount it next to my panel and solar controller behind the stairs.

I just bought a Garmin Echo 300c fish finder/depth finder and discovered that it also has a battery alarm feature (and displays the voltage nicely too).
I picked this one because it was compact also can also take a speed sensor input (the 200 is a little cheaper and has a speed input, but is much larger). The similar 150 or 100 may still have the battery alarm and are much cheaper ($80ish instead of $180ish), but have lower resolution monochrome displays and don't have the speed sensor input.
Now I just need to figure out what to do with my Bluewater analog voltage meter. It seemed like a nice thing to have at the time that I purchased it, but now I don't really need it.

I really wanted the alarm so I wouldn't have to check it all day, or at night while I'm trying to sleep.
