This weekend we loaded up the boat for a weeks vacation on Greers ferry lake in arkansas. Towing a fin keel 25 is no fun but my diesel handled it well, even thru the hills of Branson. It's about 350 miles from Kansas city to Greers ferry. This is the first time visiting this lake and I must say I'm impressed. Very nice lake, lots of amenities and lots of places to anchor. I'm still amazed at the water depth at this lake, 20 feet from shore and your in 15-20 feet of water. Hope everyone is having as good a memorial day weekend/week as i am.
Have fun on Greers Ferry! I've not sailed on the lake but I have caught a few trout on the fly below the dam. It's a great cold water fishery, incase you get the itch.
