I need to try and increase the thrust I have for reverse. I have almost none at this time.

I think I need a high thrust prop? Anyone know where I can find one for a '89 - 8HP Suzuki 2-cycle outboard?

I read somewhere that the Tohatsu/Nissan props would fit but that was from a sketchy site.

I poked around a bit looking for props for your outboard, but none of the sites have listings for 8hp outboards, they skip from 6 to 9.9. I'm sure you're aware of this, but I wasn't expecting it to be so difficult. There are lots and lots them listed for Suzukis on Ebay, but without knowing what size, number of splines, etc. it's difficult to guess which one might fit.

Ever try finding a Suzuki dealer in the Houston area? Especilly for an '89?

I hadn't thought about EBAy. I'll give that a try! Thanks.

We share your pain - we have a 2010 2.5 and and the closest dealer is 38.2 miles away - and we have three rivers here in SW PA.
