You can see a photo of the keel here:

I think there was an ad for a keel manufacturer in the Mainsheet Mag. It's possible that's where CD gets "their kits".

I get a good pic of the wing keel when I click on the link in the original post above. Maybe you need to update your flashplayer?

I get the Google Docs page, too... Maybe it's a Google doc.

I'm not aware that CD (Catalina Direct) ever offered the wing conversion kit. I think that was just Catalina Yachts, and somebody said they had stopped offering it.

You have to log into your Google account before the photo comes up. I suppose if you don't have one, you'd have to make one.

Here you go - I took the liberty of moving the photo to my smugmug account where I can get a link that works.

I logged into my Google account...now all I get is a Google Drive page with an embedded video advertising Google Drive.

Both Safari and Firefox.

Any idea what the cost of the wing keel is currently? I know they have always been expensive, butthe eliminated maintenance and concern for dropping the swinger with failure would be worth quite a bit to me. When I first got my boat I toyed with the idea of rigging a contraption to hold the boat and learn the procedure for conversion to change mine and possibly buy salvage boats and refurbish them as wing keel boats for sale as a retirement income generator. Right now we have so little water in our lake that mine is still sitting on the trailer where I unhooked when I brought it home. If the lake starts filling, maybe I will be re-energized to finish my make-ready
