Does anyone know what a trailer for the 25' fixed keel will cost and where I can purchase one in the Vancouver, Vancouver Island area?

If you are talking new, figure US$7,500 + tax. Trail-Rite in Santa Ana has probably built more trailers for C25s than anyone else.

I've been looking for a trailer for last 5 months or so. Prices vary.... Cheapest I could find is from "Excalibur" and they're asking 4k plus tax. Other manufacturers range from 5k to 7k. Used trailers that are in decent condition go from 2k to 3.5k.

You can search craigslist and kijiji for used one... But i've had a hard time finding one that is nearby and in decent condition.

Just last week i found a guy that runs a small shop and is a metal fabricator - specializes in building trailers. He quoted me 3.5k all in. That's tandem axel trailer (each axle 3500lbs) and with electric brakes on both axles. I'm thinking of going with that.

Based on my experience the 3500 axels are marginal. Mine were bowed and one finally broke. I replaced them with 5200 axels with brakes on all four wheels. Trailer is five years old and the axels rusted from the inside. I pumped paint inside and drilled drain holes in the new ones to coat them to hopefully keep them from rusting out again.
Good luck finding a trailer.
