In my 77, 25 sk, I have two nice teak cabinet doors, one below sink and other below stove recess. There is nothing else, no drawers, no compartments, just the hull. I have seen drawers on some of your pics. Are they homemade or kit? any suggestions on how to create either a compartment or drawers for galley storage?
Note that the drawer configuration is only 3 drawers, not 4. The lower one under the stove looks like a drawer, but it is a flip down door that gives you access to the through-hole for the icebox and sink. You do get 2 drawers under the sink.
Doors aren't very nice for organization, but do give you the greatest possible storage room. If I had a boat with your configuration I'd think about building shelves inside the door area for storage rather than looking for drawers.
Dave On my 77 it has a drawer instead of a stove. I just refinished all the wood inside and can assure you mine is from the factory as opposed to a kit. I think in 77 owners had a choice of stove or storage drawer. Similar to having a choice of a sink or hanging locker. As I recall there are two glides about 1/2" x 1" and the drawer sides are rabbited to slide on these glides. Am going to the boat tomorrow and will take pics and email them to you. It would be simple to add this drawer. On top of the drawer I retrofitted a cutting board for the admiral.
I think the drawers were an available option when ordering a new boat. Heed what Alex said about storage volume. I have 2 drawers under the sink and a door under the stove, that is a good compromise for me.
I had 2 doors below the sink and below the stove shelf. I unscrewed the door frame below the stove and built a pine box with one 1/2" thick plywood shelf. Building the box was simple, but getting it to fit inside the curved hull liner involved some tedious trial and error.
I store tools in a tray on the bottom shelf and parts in a tray on the top shelf.
Under the sink I left the door with access to the plumbing and wiring in there.
Plastic trays or short wide Tupperware containers on the shelves help to keep the contents organized. You're probably best off using them without the covers.
My '82 has 2 drawers under the sink, and 1 drawer under the stove with the lower part being a small tilting drawer face that has a small spice rack on it, providing access to the seacock.
The stove cabinet fell apart when I took it out, so I rebuilt it. Instead of a drawer, I built a cubby. I put hinges on the bottom of the drawer face:
That little spice rack on the seacock access door is really nice. Was that already part of your boat when you bought it, or did you add it? I've never made effective use of that space.
You can get a set of drawers to fit any space from companies like this. I had the builder of my boat put a set of three where they normally put a door in the galley cabinet--I presume the builder got the set from somebody like this.

It was already there....I don't know where it came from...I've had a couple people comment about it....and it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the parts manual either.
I went ahead and refinished it, but I don't use it. I only keep salt/pepper on the boat, both in good containers. Even if I kept more herbs/spices on the boat, I wouldn't keep them down there where they could "possibly" get exposed to the nasty bilge air....ruining them completely.
I wouldn't use it for spices either, but it seems handy for quick access to trash bags or other regular use items.
I do the same as Voyager and use that space for holding occasionally accessed junk like trash bags. On my dinette boat it leads into the aft dinette bench storage space.
