This is not really the correct place to post this notice, but it's the most read area.
There seems to be a bit of confusion about the Login to the forum and to the Members area.
I will try to clarify:
The Forum:

The Forum is open to the public

A Forum user does not have to be a Member of the Association.(ie. they do not need to be a paid member of the association to be a member of the forum)

In order to post to the Forum, the user needs to register on the forum using an email address and password of their choice.

All Forum users can change their email address and password used to login to the Forum.

The Assn Members area:

The Assn Members area is restricted to paid members of the Association

An Assn Member does not have to be registered with the forum.

In order to join the Association, they need to register using an email address and password of their choice.

All Assn Members can change their email address and password used to login to the Assn Members area.

The Officers of the Association have the option to add a Paid Member to the system if the member does not have internet access.

Assn Members make this site possible, it is funded by part of their small annual Membership Fee.

So the Login to the forum has nothing to do with the login to the Members Area. AND The Login to the Assn Members Area has nothing to do with the login to the Forum

Prior to the development of the new Assn Members Area, all paid members had the same user name and password. Let me repeat that: All paid members had the identical login credentials for the Assn Members Area. The new Assn Members Area does not use those old credentials. They no longer work!
Many visitors to our site have registered with the Forum and have joined the Association, but their Forum account and Assn Membership account might be using different email addresses and passwords for each.
In an attempt to make it easy for Assn Members, I wrote a program that allows a Member to access their Forum account if they use the same email address and password.
That only works if both their Forum account and Members account use the exact same email address and password.
Membership of the Association has many benefits, and they are growing. We (the Officers and Staff of the Association) are all volunteers and we strive to add more benefits. The most recent has been the addition of posting pictures to the Assn Members Area that can be included in posts in the forum. (There is even a feature that allows you to cut and paste the code to insert the pic into the Forum) An example is my signature picture below, that is hosted on our system.
I hope that this clarifies rather than adds to the confusion.
