I know that http://www.epsails.com/ Elliot Pattison sails offers a discount to Wayzata yacht club when they order in the fall, right around now, the discount structure is pretty good. I'm gonna be looking towards them soon myself (just gotta close on my house first)... They work pretty closely with the Capri 25 group there to design sails that work best for the Capri.
Also there may be an opportunity when others upgrade to find some slightly used sails... who knows.
I just talked to Harry Pattison at EP Sails... sounds like their discount might be 20-25% for the Wayzata Fleet this year (based on volume), meaning we can get in on their pricing for discounted NEW sails at this price.
I know new sails are pricey, but from what I can tell, these will make a huge impact. I think it speaks volumes that Harry himself makes the trip out to Wayzata from time to time to see how the sails are doing. He's got my vote for sure.
I put in an order for 2 sails myself. It's a lot of money, but then again, it's a major decision on a racing sailboat. Now I'll be chomping at the bit at trying them out!
My best suggestion is to call them directly at Phone: 949 645-6697. Ask for Harry. Tell him you are interested in sails for a Capri 25. I don't know if he'll still be able to get you in on the discounted pricing, but it's certainly worth a shot, sounds like he's got a decent number of people ordering this season.
The class legal size is to 155, so if you are getting a number 1, then it'll be a 155 (just an FYI).
