Sorry to hear you're having to drop the price again. Are you getting any any calls on it? If you are, I'll shut up and keep my thoughts to myself in the future (not sure that's possible tho ).
The reason I ask is I re-read your Sailing Texas ad again this morning and was thinking it might help if you remove some of the negative comments in the ad. I know you're trying to be upfront about the condition of the boat (that's commendable) but if I was in the market for a used boat I'd probably not call after reading there were 10 holes drilled in the rudder (even though it was repaired), a patched sail, and tears in the interior cushions. Especially since there are no pictures of these.
I'm not saying you should be deceiving, if they call and ask be upfront about those issues. I'm just saying don't mention the negatives in your ad. It's easier to explain any issues on the phone than it is in writing. You never know what's important to a buyer. You want the prospective buyers to call and come look at the boat, not pass before even making the phone call.
Think of it this way, have you ever read an ad from a broker that mentioned the negatives? No, they want you to come out and take a look so they promote the positives about the boat. Once you come out and look the negatives may not be that big of a deal to you and you may overlook them because of all the positives they pointed out too you.
If they don't come and look, they won't buy!
Hope I didn't come across as critical. That's not my intent. Since I'm not the seller and I've never seen your boat I just wanted to share a possibly different perspective (from a buyers standpoint) based solely on what I've read.
Just curious, why would the rudder maintenance be considered a negative? In the interest of making sure the inside was dry and since I was stripping it down anyway I drilled several holes in the bottom, let it sit and repaired using WEST epoxy system and filler. This was done on a recommendation from my local yard as all fiberglass rudders will take in moisture over time.

Think of a car ad that says "Two new pistons..." I agree--you can answer questions over the phone and be straight with people when the come to see the boat.
One other thought: We are quickly approaching (may have already reached) the worst time to try to sell a boat (in the North). I'd consider storing it and raising the price accordingly next spring.
Well thats the reason for the price drop. I'm looking at around $1000 to store her for the winter and I'd rather sell now for a lower price. I will relist in the spring for higher if nothing happens.
