Our launch ramp is at the city beach, a not gated cul de sac only a few minutes from most residents. I pulled my Cat25 and left her trailered in the parking lot while I procrastinated two days before returning to drop the mast and bring her home.
This is Idaho, so I didn't bother locking up the cabin. On return, I found evidence of a break in: swim ladder down, hatch hasp not set, and the part that makes me laugh, my 3 Genoa's and mainsail that filled the forward v-berth were tossed aside into the cabin. Since nothing was stolen, I have to go with the assumption local teenagers found someplace warm and dry after their long walk on the beach :)
