Exactly! It was beautiful all last week with light winds. Then, during our Winter Long Distance Race on saturday, we had ZERO wind, drizzle, crazy fog, and it was a little chilly. We had to cut the course short, and several people gave up halfway through. Took us over 2hrs to get through the first leg.
Today, we're back to beautiful weather again.

Hit 64 degrees earlier in our area. Snow melting fast, 3/4 inch of rain came down today... winds are picking up (supposed to get gusts to 50+ tonight)... we were 33 this morning, and 29 last night. -1 last week. We're supposed to be in the low 20s tomorrow. Snow coming in by morning.

All over the place in weather... oh and supposedly thunderstorms tonight.

The past week has seen record highs here in the Houston area. I think it was 86 yesterday but it was much cooler today with a low of 38 tomorrow morning.

Frank, you need a good ole-fashioned hurricane--or maybe a "super-storm" like Sandy! Your water problems will be over in a heartbeat! (Actually, you'll probably have a whole new set of water problems...)

Was in Washington DC on Tuesday and the weather was perfect for sailing. 70s, sunny, nice winds. When I got back to NY it as 37. On Thursday early AM we got a strong cold front that was preceded by 40 MPH winds with gusts to ~60. Now we're back in the deep freeze.

Awesome say for sailing today. Partly cloudy skies with the temperature around 75 degrees. East winds around 10-12 knots.

So many boats on the water it was almost like summer. Even with 63 degree water I saw some kids tubing in the lake today.

We also headed to the lake saturday. Lots of people there for the perfect weather. Met up with Derek to check out his new ride, and took some measurements for a new main I'm having Bartlett make.

So last night the news is playing up the winter snow storm that will hit Boston starting Friday. Then one of the newscasters says something about the crazy weather. Huh? "It's the first week of February!" I yelled . . . thinking the person on the screen could hear me.

Sun is starting to set (16:30 hrs) and it is still 62 here in the Music City. Weird! Beautiful day to. No sailing though, had to work.
