hello all.. i am building a mount for a grill and wanted to know if you all know the exact diameter of the lifeline pole. I drew the piece that i need.. it's one of those u shaped stainless steel screw. It's super common but since i am going to the place on my lunch break i did not want to go back..

Hi Marco,

I think you mean the diameter of the rails/stanchions of the stern pulpit, not the lifelines ... right? (Oops ... I was going by the title of your post ... in your actual post I see you are asking about the "pole".)

Anyway, the diameter on my boat is 1" ... 'don't know if that is standard though. I've got store-bought mounts for a Magma grill and a Magma umbrella ... they both fit just fine ... of course, they're adjustable, so I would expect them to fit!

'Hope that helps ... good luck!
