WOW! That's funny. I can see the added value for the groovy pattern ... less a small amount for the rat chewed part...it still equals him paying someone to carry them to a dumpster.
Actually, it looks like the V-berth cushions aren't in bad shape. Not unusual, since they rarely see daylight and typically get very little use compared to the dinette cushions. The tip of the very worn one is where people often step when entering/exiting the cabin or just standing in the companionway. When we had our cushions recovered, I had the shop make a removable vinyl sleeve for that half of the cushion to protect the new fabric. The foam on the others might be reusable, if there is no mildew. Still, $200 is absurd.
