Beautiful sailing day yesterday. Only slightly tarnished by the fact that one of the springs on my motor mount snapped. Part of the shrapnel hitting my forearm and causing some bloodshed....
So now I am making up my Catalina Direct shopping list. Guess I will upgrade to the three spring model.

Before you do that there should be a post in tips on modifing your present mount. Several years ago I did mine. You mount a spring to an eyebolt on the transom and the cross bar of the bottom of the bracket. You can pick up the spring at Lowe's.
