I'm thinking that if you paint the outside black, you could have a nice, potentially hot, pressurized shower while you were at anchor. Maybe strap it down across one of the cat-bird seats or something while you were underway, or maybe up on the foredeck, but it'd be underfoot up there if you had to work on sails or anchor.

Solar showers work nicely and aren't very expensive. You can hang them from the forestay or backstay using a halyard. Even on my Pearson, which has a proper shower, I intend to use the solar shower instead of the onboard hot water heater and pressure water system.
I've got a Solar Shower that I've used camping for years, was even able recently to replace the cracked shower head/valve thingy at REI (I think). I know they Pardy's use a hand pumped garden sprayer painted black for their on-board shower, this seemed sort of like a good idea, except for the battery use.
We used a hand pump garden sprayer on our last longer trip. Worked very nicely. I replaced the garden nozzle with an adjustable spray hose nozzle. Just boil a small amount and add the water in sprayer...viola, hot shower.
ETA: I even used it to spray salt off the boat after a wet passage.

One was a sprinkler head. So.... I have a 2-liter soda bottle with a sprinkler head. I just hold it over my head but I could rig it to hang. </font id="navy"></font id="size2"></font id="Comic Sans MS">

Two problems for me. 1. its spendy and 2. made in China. I have a porta shower. I keep water in it. When I need to use it, its already hot as its been out in the sun all day. ;) Steve
