This topic has probably been covered before, but can someone advise the easiest way to do the above? Catalina Direct tells me that I would have to put a reef in the main in order to create the height needed to install bimini. Any suggestions helpful, thanks
My TR had a SR main on it when I purchased the boat. The sliding gooseneck is set just below the slot. I purchased the big bimini from CD and it mounts on the genny tracks, gives much shade. The bimini mounts do get in the way of adjusting the car position, but I now have a second set of cars aft of the bimini mounts. I did have to cut the SS frame to lower it slightly, but I have plenty of room underneath. Best upgrade IMO.

Maybe someone will share what they did on their 1989 and later model. <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">Read it one more time... <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
