Not sure how to explain this all that well, but my new-to-me C25 swing keel seems to favor the bow when sitting on its mooring. The only thing I have forward is an anchor, a roller furled jib, and the v-berth cushions. There is no bilge access forward, so I don't know how I would check to see if there is water there.
I've checked the bilge where I can and while there is a little water in it, there really isn't much at all, so I have no idea why it could be leaning towards the bow.
I'd say that it leans about 3 to 4 inches forward. AS many of you know, my motor was recently stolen, so there is about 80lbs less of weight on the stern, but I can say that I noticed even with the motor it sat a bit forward.
Thank you! I tried a search but I didn't really know exactly what I was searching for so I never got any hits. This is exactly what I needed. Thanks again.
I had noticed that too on our 1980 SK/SR. I had theorized that when sailing with folks in the cockpit she would sail her lines. I will sleep much better now. Thanks.
