In the Spring 2013 issue of Mainsheet Frank Falcone, Commodore of the Catalina 400 National Association, included information on a model making business called ABORDAGE. ABORDAGE has a booth at the fall Annapolis Sailboat Show and we visited their booth last year and picked up a brochure. We decided to have a custom model made of Windswept, our 2005 Catalina 250 WK #801. I have added photos to the Windswept Photo Gallery. The attention to detail is exceptional. I would recommend ABORDAGE to any one interested in having a custom model made of their boat. Their website is www.abordage.com for more information.

Bob, I would create a new album just for those model pics, they get lost when mixed in with the rest of your pics.

Making an album relevant to a particular subject makes it easier to find, also shows up in the Recent Albums list (as it grows old, it drops down the list) and you can make it specific to a photo album category.

They do some impressive work...
Warms my heart digging through their "past models."
America, Columbia, Mischief, volunteer, Defender...

SHNOOL - whose daily drudgery involves network administration... Server names? America, Columbia, Enterprise, Volunteer, Mischief, Resolute, Reliance, Magic, Resolute, and Courageous.

Hmmm... Great models. ponders how much it's worth to me. Very cool though.

Hah! Maybe a bit of DNS Magic keeps all the Mischief from overflowing...

Seriously, though... I filed away that site--they do some classy work! (I'm just trying to guess the tags...)

CD doesn't have the half-hull for the C-25 FK--maybe some folks here would like to negotiate a volume price with Arbordage. I could be interested...

Very nice Album Bob.

In my office I have a hand built model of a clinker built whaler that is about 30 years old, I look at the details often.

Your model looks exceptionally Fine! Do you use it to describe sailing terms and practice with your crew?
