Last year, I refinished the bottom of Outlier, using VC-17m for anti-fouling. I applied two quarts, one quart per coat. This may have been a little scant, but seemed okay considering I would apply another two quarts this year.
So these are the results after one year in fresh water. Two of the pictures show the area that was under the straps on the last readjustment, which did not get any VC-17m and had barrier paint only. These provide a nice point of comparison to show what the VC-17m actually prevented.
I had VC17offshore on the keel (the only part in the water when on the hoist) for 8 years. It was never "touched up" and the more I cleaned off the slime through the Summer, the more polished it became. Super stuff! On the "new" C22 I've had VC17m applied to the keel.
