Chrome First: Visit http://www.catalina-capri-25s.org While viewing the home page Click on the Chrome Menu button (three bars in top right of chrome window) Click Tools, Click Create Application Shortcuts Select Quick Launch Bar Click Create.
The base icon will show for now (I'll add the association icon at lunch today)
Close chrome.
Click on that icon in the quick launch bar( task bar) and voila!
Now IE. Visit http://www.catalina-capri-25s.org While viewing the site Drag and drop the tab into the quick launch bar (task bar) It will look weird as you drag it, appearing to drag the whole page, but when it drops it will just drop an icon.
As mentioned, I'll upload the ICO file for the forum site at lunch time (EST) today.
If you're referring to the icon that can show up in a browser tab, that's something that our resident webmaster would have to craft for us. The icon needs to be inserted in the HTML that makes up the page.
Yep, you guys must have just done this... showing in firefox too but in the proper spot, for both my bookmark and my toolbar... the one on my bookmark is the catalina one, the one on my toolbar is the association logo.

Looks good on chrome using android. But looks bit funky using internet browser that comes with android. I dont know how to take screenshot just yet, but bottom part is grey and it apears to have vertival white bar on each side.
I can tell you what's wrong with the Assocaition logo... the white line goes through the red triangle at the top, on the burgee it does not... its solid red... the white line appears to be behind the entire diamond. yes I am picking nits.

The icon looks good in Android Gingerbread's default browser (SeaMonkey?), although the blue sorta fades into the tab's background. Opera on Android doesn't display any icon that I could find so no report there. Rita's going to be on the other side of the mountains for the rest of the week, so I don't have her iPad to play with. Safari on iPhone doesn't display an icon but Chrome does, and it looks good.
