I'd run down there on Sarge and tow her back, but I'm more interested in the Schooner Festival in Mystic tomorrow--a dozen historic big boats that will gather here till Friday, and then move on to New London for the weekend.
But why would I want a Swan when my 17' O'Day outran one approaching Norwalk, CT some 20 years ago? (It was in maybe 4 knots of wind. The uniformed crew appeared not to be amused--they actually started working on the trim. )
If you read down through the comments, someone boarded her about two months ago, and said it was basically a right off. Water over the cabin sole, engine swamped, etc.

Quite a few boats matched that condition after Sandy!
maybe that person was downplaying to keep for themselves. Swan would be a nice boat: we have quite a few boats at our marina that were reborn from derelict status. Some successfully, others not quite so much. In terms of saltwater??? I am guessing the overall structure is still worth it.
