Wasn't this one of our members? I remember the name "Passin' Wind".

With the boom that low, is this a TR?

I talked to the owner when I was in the process of upgrading to a bigger boat.
He took the ad off of Craig's list so I assumed someone snatched it up. He is an older gentleman and can't get around on it easily. He also used his trailer to haul some stuff at his cabin and hit something bending the axles slightly. Still seemed like a heck of a deal.
I was going to flip it to help pay for this boat I have now.

I guess so for an '86 with a trailer! The trailer was worth almost that much!

It's not our Val Bisagni ("tinob"--now in his 80s), but it might be in his neighborhood.

...and that "4-cyl(inder) motor" is quite something for an outboard on a sailboat!

I think it was meant to read 4Stroke <s>cycle</s> That is what appears to be on the side of the cowling.

Low pricing like that for a boat in what appears to be excellent condition is not rare. If you can not store at home and must pay for winter storage, or in spring are looking at commissioning and summer dock fees, taking a low price fast may save you enough money so the net of sale price and cost savings equals the "value" of the boat.

looks to good,......usually is.

<self-advertisement follows warning for those that want to avert such exposure.... :O)>
For those trying to dump off a boat, $4050 for a 1980 fin keel would be more appropo asking price and a really good deal at that. So yeah, this really is a too good to be true. G/L to the seller, and what looks like a good opportunity for someone in the market and a keen eye to find what could be wrong? To me, it looks in remarkable shape as well.
