I haven't yet as I haven't had time to discuss with the boss with all the Christmas activities. I'd still like to get it and my birthday is coming up next month. Give me a little more time and if things don't work out I'll let you know.

Derek,

I'm thinking of coming over this weekend to look at your motor. Are you going to be around?

Yes, I can be at the lake either Saturday or Sunday. Please call me at 210-838-8130 and we'll arrange a time.

Derek,

Thanks to one of my co-workers coming to work with the flu I am now getting it myself. I got medicine tonight and I'm hoping I can catch it soon enough to not get the full effect.

That being said I think it would be wise for me to wait a week before coming over if that is OK with you.

I am truly interested in getting this motor.

Derek,

I'm still sick and will not be able to make it this weekend either. I went to the doctor yesterday and he advised that I have walking pneumonia.

I do plan on buying your motor if everything checks out on it and I'm sure it will so if you can give me a little more time I would appreciate it.

I'm a little late on this post, but you may look at Greyhound shipping. I've used it before for bulky motorcycle parts. Slow, but affordable. BTW, I'll have a 95 Johnson 8HP that's getting replaced in the near future. Runs good, needs a good cleaning and the wiring could stand to be replaced. Its a little crispy after it caught fire on me last year.

The motor is only 2-1/2 hours away and it's a good excuse for my wife and I to go to our favorite part of Texas.

If I can just get over this c$%p I have! I'm sick of coughing!

Hi Derek.

I'm finally starting to get over this walking pneumonia I've been fighting for almost 2 weeks and I might be able to come over Sunday to look at the motor.

Would you have some time available Sunday and would the marina be open for us to get to the motor?

Hi GaryB,
The service dept. is closed on Sunday. I will be at the lake all day Saturday (it's our Valentine's Day Regatta and party) but have to go home that evening. Would next Saturday (22nd) be OK for you? If not, I'll put the motor in my trunk on Saturday and go back to the lake on Sunday.

Let's shoot for next Saturday. It would probably have to be in the afternoon. I'll get in touch with you as it gets closer to finalize the time.

I'm pretty much getting back to normal. Still get very tired before the end of the day, still have a cough the doctor says will last 3 or 4 more weeks but at least I can breathe now!

Luckily we caught it at the walking pneumonia stage. It had already progressed into both lungs. I little longer and I might have really been in deep.

Good luck in the regatta and have fun at the party afterwards!

I'll be at the lake most of the day. I'm giving a seminar from 10 to noon but free after that.
What time would you like to meet?
Call me in the morning 210-838-8130

It would probably be 1 or a little after before we could get there.

Sounds like your going to have a busy day today. Maybe you could call me when you have a spare minute? two eight one 808 nine nine 84

What paperwork will we need? A Bill of Sale and the title so I can register in my name? I don't remember what is required in Texas!

Gary - 1.00 or 1.30 would work fine for me. I'll pick up the motor from Service Dept. I'll either be in the clubhouse or on my boat in slip B-31.
I don't have a title for the motor - when I bought it Texas didn't require titling. The bill of sale is all you will need to get a title.
