Catalina Direct has their sail sale on until Nov 25th. Guess it is time to order one. Delivery in March 2014. Should have done it last winter.

That's OK cuz a Catalina 25 isn't an off-shore boat.

I think it's just there way of self-promotion rather than any real description of the sails.

Those sails sure looked snazzy in the advertisement. Ever since I had my originals refurbished by Gene Potter in Stratford (restitched, reinforced and replaced the sacrificial strip) and cleaned & pressed by north sails, I don't need them. But they really did look appealing…

I finally bit the bullet and ordered one yesterday. Anxious to get in the spring.
Hope I didn't screw up. I ordered full battens with double reef. I have double reef sail now and have used it a couple of times. Full battens will be new feature.

I had full battens on Moe: That seemed to always help with sail shape. The Oday has partial battens, would like full.

If you contact Ullman Ventura you will find the same sails (they make all the CD Direct sails) for less . . . Give Gary a call!
