I haven't seen anyone do this on a Catalina 25, so why do I have it? It's time to tighten up the bolts, because wood being wood, has flexed and done its thing over a few trips trailing and hard reverses.

It's done because there is very little room to raise and tilt a bulky 4 stroke if you don't. I have a thinner spacer that worked well with my old 2 stroke,, but requires care with my 4 stroke.
