One of mine was broken when I got the boat so I had the vinyl lettering people make up these when I was having the boat name made. Only a few extra bucks and I gave my old good one to someone on this forum.
I picked up a set of Catalina emblems from a 1967 Pontiac Catalina. They are in a similar font to the originals. I'm planning on mounting the with 3M tape and maybe a few small SS screws. Similar to the link below.

Scott, Could you post some larger photos of your Bimini please! I think it's the solution I've been looking for. My boat is on a fore and aft mooring in a creek and we have to get on and off at the rear quarter using the swim ladder. We wouldn't be able to do that if I put a normal Bimini on the pushpit. From the photo above it looks like the whole thing slides back and forth. Does it go right back to the back stay? Barry
I don't mean to hijack a thread but yes it is slid-able and will go back to the back stay although it is set most of the time so the mainsheet will just clear it. I attached the straps just above the coaming boxes so I can easily get on and off from the sides or from the swim ladder/transom.
Thanks, My boat is an 87 standard rig. The Bimini is an off the shelf Westmoreland brand. The tubing had to be cut a few inches off the bottom for it to fit under the boom. Many of the guys here have added a Bimini in various configurations similar to mine. You can use the search feature to find many discussions on adding a Bimini.
