newbie question... we just purchased a 2005 Catalina 250 Wing Keel... where is the bilge located? I have checked the threads on this forum but have not found anything specific to the 250 Wing Keel.

thanks in advance for your help
On the C250WK, the bilge and keel bolts are beneath the dinette under the removable floor board.

Congrats on the new boat, and welcome to the forum!

Jeff, Instead of the fancy electric bilge pump in Rick's awesome sloop, you will likely find a hose connected to your manual bilge pump in the cockpit.
Yes, got this... looks exactly likes Rick's with the exception of the fancy electric bilge pump. Actually, I did not remove the dinette, but just the removable section aft of the plate the dinette pole fits into. I could not see the manual bilge pump hose... I am guessing it is forward of the section that I can see... actually underneath the dinette post... Is that correct?
Thanks for you help... it is appreciated... as was your humor, Rick,
The manual bilge pump hose is all the way aft in the same place as in the photos on our '97 WK. We've also added a 2000 GPH electric bilge pump that runs in parallel to the manual with separate discharge hoses. Some folks have opted to use the same hose for discharge, and you'll see lots & lots of opinions both ways. You can read a big thread on it here.
Here are two photos showing the manual bilge pump hose as it came from the factory and my modification to insure it was at the bottom of the bilge and stayed in place. In the first picture the back of the boat is at the bottom. In the second, the back is at the top. I hope this helps.
