I went out to the boat today to put the sails on so we can start sailing. Unfortunately the sail slide stop for the main ended up in the water. Where can I get a replacement?

I know Davis makes something that will work:

But I am not sure if I should use the 1/2-inch slug as the C-250 uses 3/8-inch slugs on the sail.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I had originally bought the 1/2" one that you linked. It was too large to fit through the slot. I returned it and bought the 3/8" one, #2351 below. I got it at West Marine:

Thanks for the information. I just called my local West Marine and they don't stock either part and so I ordered both. I assume the 1/2-inch won't fit but want to be sure and will take it back to the store once I confirm it won't work on my boat.

I sent an e-mail to the Catalina parts department and they didn't have any original parts in stock and referred me to the same Davis parts listed above from Catalina Direct. Hopefully this thread helps anyone else who manages to drop the main sail slide stop over the edge.

I also use 2351.
