Some may recall that in late April I managed to have my driverless e-150 back its left front wheel up my leg from the heel to my groin where my body finally acted as a wheel chock. Well that went really well and I am now only needing to think about where I step before I "go". SO 10 weeks after the failed first attempt I finally launched my boat and have sailed several times since... but today I got to schedule my surgery to repair the hernia I got from carrying my 6hp outboard from my shed and lifting it up and mounting it on my boat sitting on my trailer. And so my stupidity continues.
PS The surgeon also scheduled a colonoscopy... be careful what you ask for.
This reminds me on the get well card I got for a fellow sailor - post hernia surgery.
The front of the card showed a group of guys carrying a rowing scow on their shoulders, white hull and bottom up. The punch line inside the card was - "Better get well soon - they're bringing your suppository!"
