Hi all,

Just a question to the group as we are settling in to the new format: what is the consensus on the designation of separate forums for 25, 250, and general? I, for one, really like the way the new format functions, but the separate forums se

I like the separate forums. The first thing I do is check the 'Active Topics' link. All forums with new stuff since my last visit are listed. Since I have a C25, I check out those posts first, then the C250 and so on. Since I don't own a C250 most post ar

Wow, Chris--you've really souped up Spirit! Is that shot on the upper Chesapeake? Maybe we won't be moving there after all! <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

I sorta wonder about separate forums--it seems like many posts on the General f

<b><i><font color=blue><h4> Having given the forum some time... I agree with you Allen about the seperate sections. But, it may save some sailors time and effort.

I'm flexible and its not a big deal...but like you.... would probably rather see us al

I chose to separate the forums because 1) many people had asked for this over the last couple of years, and 2) it helps clarify some questions and answers. For example, someone askes a question about the new balanced rudder but does not specify which boa

<font face='Comic Sans MS'><font size=2> I spoke up against the different forums in the beginning but now I see the logic and usefulness. I find that there are times when I can contribute on the 250 forum but that for the most part I only check that forum

Being from New England, I will vote early and often for a single format. Its all interesting to me - perhaps because I'm new. Although I have a C25, the C250 topics are still interesting and contribute to my personal database.

Cheers,

i have to say - this is a wonderful forum. i especially like
new posts rising to the top; and not having to use the back button
over and over to get out of a topic. kudos to those responsible for the changes!

as for separate forums for C25 and C250

I like the forums seperated. I dont think a lot of the C-250 stuff aplies to the C-25 and things that do can go into the general forum. I would like to see a new tech tip area and get away from the TSBB site alltogether.

finally, i'm proud to say i have narrowed my search for a new boat to either the C25 or C25 (sic) - i'm embarrased that i once looked at some

I like the new form setup much better the more I get use to it. I would like to see the menu at the top of the page under Sailor's Forum expanded to include all the items listed on the home page, e.g. techinal tips, members, photos, etc.

Ready about--hard alee! I've changed my mind, now that somebody pointed out the Active Topic link at the top. One list of new posts categorized by forum... NEAT! Stay the course!

My only remaining question is WHERE'S VAL?

I have said right from the very begining that I like the division of forums, as well as the whole forum. On the old forum, while I was gathering information and trying to make a decision on which model to buy, I was often confused as to which topic went

I think Val is posting under the name TINOB (not sure why, but since it's Val I'm sure there's a great story). Geez, it wouldn't be the same Catalina 25/250 board without Val!

Hi Cathy,

Your right, there is a story behind the tinob monica, SENILITY, that's the story. I have several screen names and was totaly confused whenever a site asked for a screen name/password. Could never remember which one went where. And so whe

Well, I feel better... Hi Val--still on Calista, or "on the hard, dagnabbit"?
