If you want to reduce maintenance, PlasTEAK makes teak-colored poly handrails for $1 per inch (around $70-something for a 7-loop rail). To impart the bend for a C-25, I'd imagine screwing in wood-screw/machine-screw studs into the feet where the machine screws are in the stock rails. (No need to drill in from the top and cover with bungs.)

I thought about getting the plastic ones from Catalina Direct. I've replaced quite a bit of the teak with starboard, and I'm starting to miss the teak. Lots less work, but I miss the feel of teak. I went ahead and grabbed a couple. Mine used to be 7 loop, but I've cut them down to add cabin top winches. Hoping these work out about right. It was a bit of an impulse buy for me.
The PlasTeak material is similar to Starboard, but the look from a few feet away is teak. I will probably switch before I do one more removal/refinish/replacement on my boat. That'll end the ritual after many iterations. (Don't bother trying to talk me into going gray, which in this area is blackish. )
